Ray Clouse Prize for the Best Research Article on Functional Gastrointestinal and Motility Disorders:

The Rome Foundation will present a $500 prize to the first author of the best research article published in the field of Functional GI or Motility Disorders since the last DDW. This prize will be presented at the Rome Foundation Reception on Saturday, May 17, 2008, 6:00 pm, Sheraton Suites San Diego, Room Ovation A.

Eligible papers: Published papers on empirical research (i.e., reviews and meta-analyses are not eligible) related to functional GI or motility disorders, defined broadly, not excluding any category. Publication date for nominations would include May 2007 (DDW) to present (including early online publication). Articles with Rome Foundation Board members as authors (first author or otherwise) will not be eligible. Board members are Douglas Drossman, Fernando Azpiroz, Lin Chang, Enrico Corazziari, John Kellow, Nicholas Talley, Robin Spiller, W. Grant Thompson, and William Whitehead.

Nomination of papers: Nominations should include a short paragraph of why the paper is being nominated, and a .pdf file of the article. Nominations must be received by email to no later than April 15, 2008.
